Our Over 60's, along with the 50's, took part in a tournament at the excellent FA St George's Park.
I'd like to say we played some lovely free scoring football in our group games . However, our results highlight how defensively sound we were.

Stamford 1 v Roston 0. W.Barrett.
Stamford 0 v Bolton W 0.
Stamford 0 v Mancom 0.
Stamford 0 v Wimbledon 0.
We finished the group in 2nd place on goal difference 😯.
A very tight semi final game v Harsthill finished 0 - 0. We went through to the final winning 2 - 0 on pens.
In the final we played against Bramcote. This was another tight game with few chances for either side. This finished 0 - 0, onto penalties again. Unfortunately, we eventually lost out on sudden death.
Another tournament final for 60's, last one was M.Harborough a few weeks ago. The result didn't go our way again, but it was a superb squad achievement to get to another final.

Lastly, a well done to our Over 50's who also got to the final in their competition. However, they lost the game 1 - 0.
Overall it shows how well the club is doing in that, just like at M.Harborough, both teams reached the final again.
