On a very wet day an Over 60's side made up of players from Stamford, Sleaford and Boston represented Stamford in a tournament held at St.Georges in Sheffield. There were two groups of four, with the top two going through to the Trophy semi final. The 3rd and 4th placed teams went into the Plate semi final.

A big well done to the squad in making the semi-finals considering we'd never played together before. All the games played were competitive as you would expect. In the game against Manchester Corinthians, C.Broadgate encroached in the area, not once but twice. Corinthians missed one of their spot kicks. Chris made up for this by slotting home a penalty of our own.
