Strollers 0 Sleaford 2
Matchday 5 opened with a tough game as we faced Sleaford for the third time this season.
Our lads put in a fine performance and would've been well worth a draw if it were not for a couple of mistakes and a lapse in concentration during the last 45 seconds of the first half when we conceded two goals.
We battled hard to get back in to it in the second half but the game finished 0-2.
Strollers 0 Bramcote 0
Despite our guys having the lions share of possession, Bramcote defended superbly to limit the chances our football created. Indeed, playing mostly on the break, our opponents had a number of chances to steal all three points themselves.
Despite some good passing and movement, we just didnt have that final piece to break down a dogged Bramcote defence and the game finished all square.
