Lincs FA 60's Cup & Plate Final MD 4 Wed 16th June

The final day of the Lincs FA 60's season with Stamford Strollers playing for Lincs FA 60's Cup.

Match Day Squad: Bill Whittle GK, Chris Keirl, John Hutchins, Will Barrett, Lee Tillen, Steve Adcock & Paul Beard.

Strollers were one of a number of seeded clubs in the draw for 60's Cup so our first game was at the Quarter Finals stage.

Cup QF: Strollers v Long Bennington. Strollers WIN 3-1 (Goals: Will & Steve x 2).

Cup SF: Strollers v Sleaford. Strollers WIN 1-0 (Goals: Will).

Cup Final: Strollers v Grimsby Reds. Strollers LOSE 0-2.

Not quite the ending we were hoping for though still a very good performance on the day. The 60's were Runners Up in the Premier League, plus Runners Up in the Premier LINCS FA Cup. Thanks again lads.

Congratulations to Grimsby Red on the Cup win and Boston who won the Premier League - well done lads, thoroughly deserved.
